Who is paying for the tree?

Canica bought the tree in 2017 with the purpose of giving it to the people in Oslo. Canica is covering all costs in connection with construction, maintenance and operation.

How long will it remain standing in Trettenparken?

The Oslo Tree will initially stand in Trettenparken until 2024. The location is decided by the City council of Oslo in agreement with the Port of Oslo and Canica.

How big is the tree?

It is 14 meters high and 14 meter wide with 15 000 LED leaves and 150 000 LED lights.

Who controls the lights?

The light is controlled by Canica and will vary according to the seasons.

Why is it called the Oslo Tree

Because it is given to the people in Oslo.
